General Bookmark Layout
The Front Side of each bookmark includes your Domain Name or URL. Any references to, or inclusion of, sample domain names on bookmark images at BookmarkMyWebsite.com, such as "www.bookmarkmywebsite.com", or "www.yourowndomainhere.com", are for example and reference only.
Contact information, user-specified text and logo images may be located on the front or back sides. See individual Bookmarks, order form specifications and corresponding blueline images for applied layouts. The exact size, orientation and/or layout location of printed text and graphical components may differ from sample and blueline images to accommodate various character lengths of text you provide with your order.
Logos must be provided by customers in digital format and are uploaded with the bookmark order form. See logo image specifications. Logo and text options are specified, in general, by Bookmark Style, but may vary for individual bookmarks based on technical and design considerations.
Printed bookmarks are oriented for viewing along the long horizontal axis (Fig. 1). Flipping the bookmark vertically, along the length of the bookmark, results in correct orientation for the reader.
All bookmarks are printed on paper. Any references to tassels, bookmark surfaces (such as canvas, wood or other surfaces or textures) or other bookmark design components refer only to simulated representations as printed on paper.

Domain Name / URL
Important: Your Domain Name / URL text that you provide with your order must be correct because it will be printed EXACTLY as you entered it. We recommend first typing your Domain Name / URL into your browsers to verify internet operation, copying the text from the browser bar, and then pasting it into your order form in the Domain Name / URL field. We will not verify operation of the Domain Name / URL you provide.
The front side of your bookmark will include your Domain Name / URL. At BookmarkMyWebsite.com, we have provided significant layout flexibility to maximize the utility and marketing effectiveness of your Bookmark. No explicit Domain Name / URL format is required, i.e., "www" is optional. All text entered in the Domain Name / URL field in the order form will be printed in the Goudy font. (Fig. 4).
The number of characters available for the Domain Name / URL field is limited to a maximum number of characters, and will vary by Bookmark. See individual Bookmarks, order form specifications and corresponding blueline images for character limits. For this reason, we recommend first counting the characters needed for the desired Domain Name / URL to assist with Bookmark selection.
Font size and graphical components may be altered to accommodate different character lengths to improve Bookmark aesthetics and presentation, at the sole discretion of our graphic designer.
For aesthetics, convenience and extension of the useful life of distributed Bookmarks, we recommend using your Domain Name for your web site home page. Then, provide a home page link on your web site if you wish to direct visitors to a specific page.
Before submitting your order, please verify that the EXACT Domain Name / URL format you submit with your order operates correctly using commonly available browsers on the Internet.

Important: Please check your text for errors before submitting your order. Your bookmark text that you provide with your order must be correct because it will be printed EXACTLY as you entered it.
Text Fields
All bookmarks include two types of text fields: Required User Text, and Optional User text. Refer to individual Bookmarks, order form specifications and corresponding blueline images for exact text options.
Generally, required user text is limited to your Domain Name / URL. However, to maximize the effectiveness of your Bookmark as a marketing tool and to maintain a balanced, aesthetic design, we recommend submitting text for all text fields.
Font selection. By default, the Goudy font is used for all optional user text fields. Optional fonts available in the order form may be selected for your order to replace Goudy. The selected font applies to all optional user text fields. Final text size and exact text field and graphical components placement may vary from that shown on sample bookmarks due to technical and design considerations associated with submitted text, graphical content and font selection.
The Domain Name / URL will be printed in the Goudy font. Any optional selected font will not be applied to the Domain Name / URL. Alternative fonts may be requested for the Domain Name / URL when ordering Custom Bookmarks only.
Text field length is limited by design considerations and available space, and is directly controlled by maximum character limits for input field boxes in the order form. Generally, text field length is consistent within bookmark styles, though specific field lengths are design-dependent and may vary among individual bookmarks. Variations in text field length and layout may be requested when ordering Custom Bookmarks.
Text formatting for optional user text fields is limited free-form. For example, no specific mask or format is specified for the text phone number field, and the exact format entered in the order form is a user preference, i.e., (123) 456-7890, 1.800.123.4567, 123-456-7890 x4321, and 123-BUY-MORE are all acceptable formats. Text style is always "normal", i.e., bold, italics, underlining etc. are not available except for Custom Bookmarks. Italics is available and applied by default for corporate tag lines (see below). On the order form, choose "No" for your tag line preference if a normal non-italics tag line font is desired.

Logo Image Specifications
Image Formats
Space for customer-supplied logo images is included on Business ID, Deluxe and Solid Colors bookmark styles, and for certain Special Edition bookmarks. Uploaded files may be in ai (v.10), psd (v.7), cvx, jpg, png, tif or gif formats. For best results with your file upload, COMPRESS YOUR FILE AND UPLOAD AS A ZIP FILE.
For best quality, vector-based artwork such as Adobe Illustrator v. 10 (.ai) and Canvas 9 (cvx) are preferred and recommended. Always convert fonts to outlines to ensure fonts print as intended. Always embed images. Do not submit your graphics file with linked images.
When supplying raster-based images, such as jpg, png, tif or gif files, ensure adequate resolution (pixels) is used for print. It is best to export a high-resolution image from the native application where your logo was originally designed. Importantly, jpg, png and gif files saved from web pages rarely, if ever, have adequate resolution for print applications.
For best results, when submitting jpeg/jpg files, submit only uncompressed images because jpeg compression will result in resolution loss and potentially undesireable outcomes.
Recommendations For Best Results
For best print resolution and to maximize satisfaction with your printed logo:
- Adhere to the dimension and resolution specifications below. Maintain specified height / width ratios if possible. Supplied images outside of the specified ratio will be sized to fit within the bounds shown on blueline images, but "white" or "empty" space will then be included in the final design. Usually this will not negatively impact bookmark design.
- Order a Business ID style Bookmark when supplying logos that are close to square in dimension (small-format logo).
- Order a Deluxe style Bookmark when supplying logos with a width significantly greater than image height (large-format logo).
- Do not submit compressed jpg/jpeg files.
- Submit uploaded logo images prepared by a qualified, experienced graphic designer.
Importantly, ask your graphic designer to visit BookmarkMyWebsite.com and encourage him/her to review these specifications.
- Printed logo colors will approximate colors in the submitted files. The use of Pantone colors for matching logo colors in printed form is available only for Custom Bookmarks.
- Use only CMYK colors in your logo image file. Submission of RGB graphics files may result in surprising and unintended results that do not meet expectations.
Sample blueline images are included below in Figs. 2 and 3 to show minimum logo pixel dimensions and optimal height / width ratios.

Suggested Logo Layout
The layout of logo elements is an important influence on image effectiveness. Consider altering image composition if your logo consists of both an image, and your company name in designed type, by matching size and orientation with the logo area on your bookmark. Several possible logo layout combinations are shown for Bookmarks utilizing the small-format logo area on Standard and several Special Edition bookmarks (Fig. 4, examples 1a-c), and for the large-format logo area on Solid, Deluxe and certain Special Edition Bookmarks (Fig. 4, examples 2a-c).
It is not necessary for your logo image to fill the entire logo area, by pixel dimensions, as shown to be available in Figs. 2 and 3 above. For example, if your logo is composed of only designed type similar to example 1c of Fig. 4, the supplied file does not have to meet the vertical pixel dimension requirement. We will place it within the alloted small-format logo area.

Print Specifications
Size, stock weight and laminate finish is ideal for use as a bookmark (Fig. 5), a durability property to encourage prospective customers to retain your bookmarked web site and corporate information for extended periods.

Color and Your Printed Bookmarks
The Bookmark images at BookmarkMyWebsite.com are representations of final CMYK four-color prints. Due to differences in monitor settings, computer configurations, color translation between RGB monitor colors and CMYK print colors, and due to variability in the printing process, including but not limited to variations in inks, papers, and individual print runs, exact colors in final prints may vary and likely will not appear exactly as viewed on your monitor. At times, certain CMYK colors in particular will appear less vibrant, or otherwise slightly different, than RGB colors due to gamut differences. Colors in customer-supplied artwork are subject to the same variations. The use of Pantone colors for improved color representation in logo artwork is available only for Custom orders.

JPEG Proofs
JPEG proofs will be sent to the provided email address for approval. Please verify that your selection and all text information is correct. Yellow Baron Graphics LLC will not be responsible for errors not corrected at at proof review.
Bookmarks will not be printed until after final authorization approval is provided. If no response is received within 30 calendar days of an emailed request for customer review of a provided proof, the bookmark order will be considered abandoned and the order will be cancelled. No refunds will be provided for abandoned orders.
JPEG proofs will be representations of final CMYK four-color prints. See Color and Your Printed Bookmarks.
Hard copy proofs are not available.

Photo Specifications
Uncompressed jpegs are recommended where photos may be included on your Bookmark. Follow minimum recommended pixel dimensions for best results. Expect printed colors to differ somewhat from your original photo. We recommend sending a CMYK version of your image, but if you do not, we will convert it to CMYK from RGB. It is not necessary for your photo to match the exact pixel size and dimensions shown in the order form, but to maintain quality resolution, at least one dimension should be the same or greater than a matching dimension shown for your Bookmark.
When cropping your photo, lean towards filling the image space with the subject. For the Real Estate Bookmark, for example, a home located at the center of a large landscape view will be difficult for buyers to see. By cropping closer to the house you will focus reader attention on home characteristics. In the descriptive text, encourage the reader to visit your web site where you will have virtually unlimited space to show location settings and home details.

The copyright watermark (demonstrated in Fig. 5) is included only on Internet images and jpeg proofs - watermarked copyrights are not included on final printed bookmarks.
