How do I use the BookmarkMyWebsite.com Store?
Viewing Enlarged Bookmark Images
On any product's order form page, clicking on the common window link will replace a previously loaded bookmark image within the same (common) window. Use the new window to open a larger view in a unique window that will remain open until manually closed. This feature allows for product browsing in the common window, or retaining large product views for direct comparison of multiple bookmarks in new, independent windows.
Blueline Order Form Assistance
To assist with order form entries, or to view exact text and logo fields for any bookmark, use the Blueline Assistance button to open a Blueline window. Blueline windows may be left open for comparisons across Bookmarks.
Logo Artwork Specifications Assistance
For Bookmarks that include your logo, a yellow Logo Specifications button links to important information in Specifications. Logo artwork must be prepared before submitting your order.

Explain Bookmark Styles & Product Categories
Primary bookmark designs can be viewed in the Designs by Name category. Primary designs, in turn, are distributed across three Styles, each with different layout and information options - Standard, Business ID and Deluxe.
Solid Colors utilize the general layout of the Deluxe style, in combination with a wide color selection, for use where color association is of particular value.
The Special Editions category includes thematic designs for special occasions or specific messages.
The Custom Design category allows for rapid initiation of tailored bookmark designs.

What is satin laminate?
"Satin laminate" is a special, lightweight vinyl-type laminate that protects the bookmark while providing an attractive and pleasant surface.

Ordering
When will I receive my bookmarks?
All bookmarks require individual layout work because they include your custom information and, for most bookmarks, your logo image. For this reason, our bookmarks are not "in stock", and instead require the full range of tasks and services required as for any custom print job. Turnaround time consists of three components (holidays and weekends are not included as business days):
- Layout, initial print preparation and JPEG proof approval: 2 to 5 business days after receipt of payment and funds availability verification. Included here is extra time sometimes needed by customers for their own review and approval of proofs.
- Printing: 7 to 10 business days.
- Shipping: varies, depending on destination.

I want to select and order a bookmark, but where do I start?
Three primary attributes you must know to begin bookmark selection are:
- The character length of your domain name or desired url.
- The dimensions of your corporate logo if it is to be included on your bookmark.
- The business identity you wish to express in your marketing effort.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is the "nickname" used for a web site. Examples:
- BookmarkMyWebsite.com
- YellowBaronGraphics.com

What is a URL?
The Uniform Resource Locator, or URL, is a string of characters used on the Internet to locate a specific resource. When starting with "http://", the URL may be called a "web address" or "web site address". URL examples:
- http://www.yellowbaron.com
- http://bookmarkmywebsite.com/bmstyles/bmstyles.shtml

Preparing and uploading logo artwork
Preparation of logo artwork may be no work at all, or it could be a significant task, depending on your circumstances. If your logo was designed and prepared by a graphic designer, you may already have the needed files, or the designer may be able to provide them with little additional effort. If your logo is not available in digital format, a graphic designer can recreate it in a professional graphics program.

Uploading is a simple matter of selecting your file on your hard drive when completing the order form.
Uploaded files may be in ai (v.10), psd (v.7), cvx, jpg, jpeg, png, tif or gif formats. For best results with your file upload, COMPRESS YOUR FILE AND UPLOAD AS A ZIP FILE.
Files up to 3MB in size may be uploaded with your submitted order form using the dropdown Browse button. For larger files, use our ftp site.

How will I know that my text and logo will print correctly?
First, ensure the text entered on the order form is correct, and that the logo file selected for upload is correctly selected. We will transfer your text and logo artwork to the bookmark you select. This master file will then be processed for print preparation. Prior to press time, we will provide a JPEG proof for your review. Printing will not occur until we have received your final approval. Please check your JPEG proof carefully for typographical errors or omissions.

How many bookmark prints should I order?
Print quantity is a function of your marketing campaign objectives and the expected duration of your advertising / marketing efforts.
Smaller print quantities are limited to the "Bookmark Quantity" options listed on each order form. For print quantities greater than 20,000, Contact Us.
Traditionally, printers supply an estimated print count, plus or minus some percentage around your targeted order quantity, to account for rejects and print errors. In planning your marketing campaign, the targeted piece count is important. Therefore, we target a higher print count to ensure your campaign can proceed as planned.

I need to place a rush order
We do not do rush orders at this time. Graphics and print preparation, in combination with required customer approvals, tend to be a complex process intertwined with a host of variable steps. We encourage early orders in anticipation of planned marketing campaigns.

How do I place a custom order?
Complete and submit a Custom Design order form. We encourage phone calls beforehand so we can answer any questions you may have.

I don't want that copyright watermark on my printed bookmarks
The large copyright watermark is included on Internet bookmark images and JPEG proofs, but is not on your final printed bookmarks. Copyright-related information is included in fine print on each bookmark.

Corrections
I added my order to the Shopping Cart, but I must edit or change text
A. I found my bookmark text error in my order when viewing the Shopping Cart.

In your Shopping Cart, click on the "Product" thumbnail.
- A new product order form will appear and edits may be made here.
Add the newly-edited bookmark to your cart. You will automatically be
returned to the Shopping Cart.
- In the Shopping Cart, delete the original bookmark order with the error. Be sure not to delete the corrected bookmark order.
- "Continue Shopping" or "Check Out"
B. I started to "Check Out", but I found a text error in "Step 3 of 3 - Order Confirmation".
- Do not "Confirm" your order yet!
- Move your cursor to "Shopping Cart Contents" and click on "Edit" to return to your Shopping Cart.
- Follow steps A1-A4 above.

I added my order to the Shopping Cart, but I uploaded the wrong logo file
A. I discovered my logo file error in my order when viewing the Shopping Cart.

How do I upload a logo image file using FTP?
Use our ftp site to upload images larger than 3MB when you place your order, or to upload a replacement/corrected logo image.
Note: If you discovered a logo file error after submitting your order, please CALL IMMEDIATELY because timing is crucial. After notifying us, upload your replacement file using ftp.
Zipped (compressed) files are preferred. Please name your files as follows:
[First 5 letters of company name, or your last name][order #]_LV[logo version #].ext
Example: SMITH2033_LV2.zip
The order number is not required in the file name when submitting a new order.
- Using your ftp program. Configure your ftp program as shown below, and upload your corrected file (maximum size 30 MB). Remember to first compress your image into a zip file.
- Using your browser. Type the following path into your URL bar and drag-and-drop your file into the browser window (maximum size 30 MB; if you have any problems, try a different browser)
The ftp directory is write-only, and the name of your file will not be visibile once it is uploaded.
Next, send an email note or message to inform us of the upload - please specify your name, company name, order number and the name of the uploaded file.
If uploading more than one file, or an additional replacement file is uploaded, be sure to provide different names for each one.

I have submitted my order, but I want to make a change
Important: print orders that have been sent to press can not be edited or cancelled.
If your order has not yet gone to press when we receive your change request, we will be able to edit your order. There is no fee for the first change request. Additional change requests will be subject to change fees.

Payment
What are my payment options?
We accept payment by check or money order.
Orders are not sent to press until after your check or money order is received and funds availability is verified.

Do you accept purchase orders?
Purchase orders are included as a payment option as you submit your order. This will allow us to include your PO number on the invoice. After submitting your order on-line, mail a copy of your purchase order with your payment. Full payment must still be submitted before we process your order.
